Bremer Bay offers a range of opportunities to indulge favourite sporting pastimes. The 18 hole golf course offers stunning bush and coastal vistas whilst floodlit tennis courts and a recently upgraded bowling green are available for rent or you can participate in regular local events. If regular golf is too much of a good walk spoilt then perhaps have a go at mini-golf just out of town (look for the sign about 5km on your left on the main road).
Running or cycling along the bike paths and roads of the Point Henry Peninsula offer peaceful escapes, hidden amongst beautiful surroundings with a variety of delightful coastal panoramas. In town there is the new skate park with a fabulous play ground for the young ones.
Through summer, try your hand at Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) on the protected waters of John Cove down at Main beach. Bremer Bay Salt and Sand offer SUP tuition and rental and also have road bikes available for hire. You can also kayak on the picturesque Wellstead Estuary or along stretches of the Bremer and Pallingup rivers that provide a tranquil experience with plenty of opportunity to experience the rich flora and fauna of the region.
Moving offshore and the region is a hidden diving gem, with opportunities to observe a diverse marine ecosystem and local experts at the Bremer Bay Dive shop can guide you to some of the best dive trips the region has to offer. Known locally as the dragon whisperer, Craig can help you can experience the rare leafy sea dragon cruising sea grass meadows in crystal clear water. Many of the beaches offer good surf breaks, with Native Dog beach well regarded but there are a range of options around the Point Henry Peninsula.
